This is what the guys made Brian wear for his Bachelor party. I was cracking up when Tim texted me a picture of it. The gold necklace says "Pimp Daddy." Too funny!!! Like a champ, he wore it all night.

Girls night with Dana and Bella
Tonight is Brian's Bachelor party so Dana, Isabella, and I went to dinner and shopping. Bell was too cute hanging out with the big girls. She was patient with us at dinner until Dana mentioned ice cream. We took her for some chocolate ice cream and then head to the stores. We decided to look for outfits for the rehearsal dinner and we got 2 super cute dresses. I can't believe the wedding is 7 days away!

Date night
Brian and I have been so stressed and bogged down with work and wedding planning so I asked him to go on a date with me. Last night we went out to dinner, had some wine, and just focused on each other. Of course there was some wedding/honeymoon talk, but at least we were sitting at a restaurant and not in front of our computers. I feel like we live at our computer desks lately! When we got home we promised not to sit at the computers, and we didn't. We watched TV together and fell asleep early. I think it was a much needed night but now this morning it's back to wedding planning....haha! I've been on the computer since 7am emailing vendors to confirm and emailing my Mom with different things left on our list. Oh geeze....well, at least we had last night.

My sweet fiance
AC Beerfest
On Saturday Brian and I went down to AC for the annual beerfest. It was much more organized than last year, which is great. We had a ball! We went with Johnny, Jeanna, and bunch of their friends. We also met up with Tim and Denise and Nicole & Mike Bauer. After the 4 hours of drinking shots of beer we headed back to Harrahs for yes, you called it, more drinks! We hung in the suite for a few hours and then got dressed and headed downstairs to the Water Club. After much drinking and much pizza we went to bed. When Brian and I woke up I told him that the next time we are in a hotel room we will be husband and wife! So exciting!

Dinner with Dana & Anthony
Last night we grabbed take out from La Posata, some wine, and went to Dana & Anthony's for dinner. We sat around the dining room table for a few hours just chatting about anything and everything. It was a nice night. I think about all the years that I'd go to their house, alone, and have dinner with them and now I don't go alone....Brian is with me. For so many years I was their "third wheel." I'd go everywhere with them! I do miss those times but now that I've found the love of my life I don't have to tag along with them all the time. Instead, now we can do things as 2 couples. :)
Final fitting
Mom and I went to the dress shop this week for my final fitting. It was awesome! I brought along the jewelry, shoes, etc.. so that I could try it all on together. The dress came out great and I didn't want to take it off. I just kept looking at it and smiling. Mom had tears in her eyes, of course, and she said it was perfect. They are going to steam it this week and we will go back to pick it up. I can't wait until it's in Mom's house!

Hair trial
Yesterday Mom and I went to the salon for my hair trial. Gail was too cute because she was excited as we were. I showed her my veil and headpeice and she told me what she had in mind. The headpeice was still in the wrapping and she asked me if it was ok to open up. I said "oh yea, I was waiting for you for that." She giggled as she opened it and said "oh geeze, Chris, who would've thought we'd be here today? You found him!" My Mom had tears in her eyes...now that I think of it she had tears in her eyes the whole time. I sat in Gail's chair and just let her do what she wanted. We all chatted about wedding day plans and then before we knew it, my hair was done. It looked beautiful! All the other girls in the salon were complimenting Gail on her work. We made a few minor adjustments and she even said we could play around with it again when I go in for my next hair appt (the week of the wedding). I was just so happy to have Gail to my hair...she's being doing my hair since I was in 6th grade! She has really been around for it all...all the happy times and sad times....through all the heartbreaks and now when I found my future-husband. She has become a part of my life and a great friend. I can't wait until the wedding day when she helps to make me look beautiful and then experience the whole day with me.

Bachlorette party!!
Saturday night was my Bachlorette Party! It's so funny because we've had the date planned for a few months now but it didn't hit me until Saturday afternoon when Brian and I were driving around. It was a beautiful day, I was feeling a tad of "Spring Fever", and was just simply enjoying the ride. Then it hit me...I turned to Brian and said "Babe - tonight is my Bachlorette Party!" He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "um, yea, you know that already." I told him that I knew but it hit me that it was FINALLY my night and no one elses! I've been to so many Bachlorette Parties over the years and tonight it was actually mine. I was just so excited! :)
Dana, Antonella, and I drove down to AC together. We met up with Corinne, Jeanna, Allison, Nicole Morelli (still having trouble calling her Bauer yet...haha), Nicole Herzer, and Melissa in the hotel room. We got ready real fast and headed to Buddakah for our dinner reservation. We had a wonderful dinner! I think we flustered the waiter a bit with all our questions about the menu and drinks though...leave it to me and my friends...we always have questions. haha! After dinner we went back to the hotel room to freshen up. Kim & Korrin Camarote met up with us for the rest of the evening. We hung out in the hotel room for a couple hours drinking and chatting. Corinne went up to Mom's room to nurse Charlotte for a bit so Mom and Aunt Rita were able to come down and have a drink with us. Once Corinne got back we headed out. We hit Ri Ra (Irish Pub) first and spent most of our night there. We did go to 32 after for some more dancing. I think we got back to the room around 3ish. We changed into PJ's and then ate a bunch of snacks before going to bed.
I had such a ball! Every girl that was with me that night is so important to me and I love the fact that they were all there to celebrate such a memorable night with me. They definitely gave me a night to remember and I love them all very much!

Dinner & drinks w/the JJ's
We've been trying to plan a night together with Johnny & Jeanna but it's been so hard with our busy schedules. Plus add on top of it that we are both planning our weddings so we really don't have time for much else in our lives. After emailing dates back and forth for probably over a month and a half we settled on dinner/drinks last night. We met in Collingswood for dinner and then went to PJ's for drinks after. We had a wonderful time just chatting it up. We had many different "whiff of excitment moments" as we talked about our weddings and future lives as brothers & sisters. Brian and I feel SO lucky to have such a wonderful family. We all get along so well and love each other so much. The 4 of us decided last night that this long time span of not hanging out was way too long! It's just so strange because from around May - Sept we see each other every weekend at the shore but then don't see each other too much Oct - April. So we made a decision that we are going to do our best to set a date monthly to get together with each other and also Corinne & Ryan. Wheather it be at someone's house, out to dinner, or whatever...just as long as we get together!

Got the chills...
I met with the organist at the Absecon church today and she played samples of the music for the ceremony. I immediately got the chills and a little teary eyed. I was standing on the alter and looking out at the pews picturing our wedding day. It was an awesome feeling! I thought to myself "wow, the next time I'm here will be for the rehearsal." It's getting so close....
This past week....busy!
It's been a while since my last blog entry.....I guess with the wedding 30 days away I'm trying to juggle everything. Trying to get my clients at work all settled for the rest of March and reminding them that I'll be out of the office for a little over 2 weeks in April. Also been preparing for my Bachlorette Party this weekend...need to figure out what to wear too! Last week Mom and I met with the Florist and she had a beautiful sample centerpeice to show us. It was perfect! We met with her and worked out all the details. Mom has helped me out this week with getting the favors together and I've started a rough draft of the ceremony program. Today I'm meeting with the church organist to pick the music for the ceremony and tmr we are hoping to get an appt with the Township to apply for our marriage license. Last night Brian and I reaserched and bought the last gift we needed to buy for the wedding party. We went shopping last weekend in AC for honeymoon clothes. Um....I think that's a pretty good summary of the past week or so. Wow! So much going on! Brian and I are counting down the days until we are in Aruba...laying the beach with a drink and a magazine and vegging out!!!
