Happy 7 months Evie!

Let's go WVU!!!

I know it's the weekend so I wanna party!

The past couple weekends little Miss Eve doesn't want to go to bed. I swear she knows when it's Fri or Sat night because she goes to bed easily Sun - Thurs nights. Fri and Sat nights she cries a lot and I bring her downstairs to hang with Brian and I. Not sure how she knows it.....but then again she is one smart cookie!

First day of preschool

Evan and Gavin started 3 year old pre-school on Sept 9th. They are going on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They love school! They wake up excited when it's a school day. They walk right into class and forget to give Mommy a kiss good-bye (which makes me sad.) Their teacher said they are doing very well. She said usually twins will only play with each other but they don't all the time. She said they have just as much fun playing separately. We are so proud of them!

Summertime fun

Morning snuggles while watching cartoons

Happy 1/2 birthday Evie

Aug 25th was Evie's 6 month birthday.  I baked brownies and the boys had so much fun singing to her.  They did, however. have a hard time understanding why it was her "birthday" and she wasn't allowed to have cake.

Evelyn GraceAnn's Christening

Evie's Christening was on Aug 17th at Hope. John & Jeanna are her Godparents. Evie did great throughout the service, however she kicked Pastor Jeff in the face a couple times. The whole congregation was laughing. With her new found freedom after having the hip harness removed, she loves to kick and stretch her legs out. After the service we had a great lunch at Brio in Marlton. Evie was so tired she slept throughout the whole luncheon. It was a beautiful day! Evie wore my Christening dress from when I was a baby...so special!!

"Why? Where did it come from?"

We have now entered into the "why" and "where" stage. The boys ask us "why?" or "where did it come from" to everything! We know they are inquisative because they are learning but sometimes the questions can be a bit much. However when you sit back and listen to their questions they are quite amazing. Kids are so literal and what they ask really make you think. We have learned more about life, just by raising our boys, than we could've ever imagined.

No more hip harness!

Aug 8th we had an appt at the orthopedic for Eve's hip. The Dr. gave us the happy news that Eve's hip had corrected itself and that she can have it removed. It was the best news! We were so happy!!! She took it off her and the nurse and I laughted because Eve automatically put her legs up in the same position as if her harness was on. Eve smiled at all the nurses but would do raspberries at the Dr....I was cracking up. That night we headed to the shore. Once the kids were in bed, Brian and I went out to the dock for some drinks under the stars and to celebrate our amazing daughter and her accomplishment.

Mom and Dad's 40th celebration

Mom and Dad have been married for 40 years!! We are all so proud of them and the life that they have created so we decided to celebrate. We hired a private chef to come to our shore house. Dad surprised Mom by proposing to her and had the Mayor come to re-new their vows. It was a beautiful ceremony! Once the ceremony was over we put the boys to bed, set up Livi and Char to watch a movie, and the baby slept in the stroller next to us while we ate a fabulous 4 course dinner. We were up until around 2am chatting and drinking lots. It was a wonderful, rememberable night! Mom and Dad have created a beautiful life and we are all so very proud to be a part of it. We can only hope that we will be able to live as full a life as them. They are our inspiration and we look up to them every day.
