No more bottles
Tonight we officially stopped using bottles. The boys were weaned down to 1 bottle a day, at bed time, a couple months ago. They have been pretty much holding the bottles themselves so we decided to bite the bullet and give them a sippy cup before bed. They drank them like champs and left only about 1/2 ounce in the cup each. They felt like big boys and you could tell by the way they were acting. I got all teary eyed because it's yet another thing to prove that they aren't "babies" anymore. So sad but yet so exciting!
Evan is walking!
Evan is now walking too! He's so excited to be doing what his brother does. He smiles ear to ear and giggles as he walks around the room with his arms in the air.
Gavin is walking!
Gavin has been walking a few steps here and there since the end of August but as of Tues (9/18) is now able to walk across the room. Each day since then he walks more and more. We are so proud of him!
Watching Chugginton
Evan was fighting his nap last Sat morning so I let him cuddle with me and watch his new favorite cartoon. When he hears the opening credits he smiles and dances. If he's ever crying and we can't get him to stop we pull this up ondemand and he instantly stops.

First stay home from day-care sick day of the season
Our little men where under the weather today so we kept them home. Brian and I juggled them and work. It was a tad harder than usual because they were extra clingy but we made it through. Here's hoping they sleep through the night!
Climbing on Uncle Rob
Uncle Rob and Great Nan Ida came over last night to visit. The boys had a blast climbing on him and throwing him the baseball.

Beach bar
The Sunday of Labor Day weekend we went to the beach bar in Avalon with Johnny & Jeanna. The boys had a ball. There was a reggae band playing, so it was a very chill environment. We had lunch and some drinks. Gavin was his usual happy, flirty self. He was dancing to the music and smiling at all the ladies. As a matter of fact there was a group of girls that was sitting 2 tables away from us and moved to the table next to us so they could talk with him. Johnny's single friends loved it! Gavin was reeling in all the ladies. He eventually got tired and passed out in the stroller for about 45 minutes. Evan, on the other hand, was his usual chill self. He sat on each of our laps most of the time taking it all in. I love how they are so identical but so different. We had a blast that day..it's a shame that we discovered how well the boys behaved there the last weekend of the summer.
