Happy 4th of July!

Happy 2nd birthday boys!

We can't believe our lil men are now 2 years old. Time has truly flown by and we can't believe we now have toddlers. Their party was great! They ran around the house from the moment everyone arrived til the last person left. They had constant smiles on their faces. It was a joy to watch them. Their theme was construction trucks and they loved it! (Evan in orange and Gavin in blue)

First overnight date in 2 years!

During our vacation in June we went on our first overnight date in 2 years! Mom and Dad watched the boys and we headed to AC. We had drinks and apps at Landsharks, a beach bar, then went into the casino for some more drinks at 5 o'clock somewhere. We had dinner at Cappricio's and then went to Margaritaville for some more drinks and to listen to the band. We had an absolute blast! We hadn't been able to let loose and just spend time with each other for a very long time. Of course we spent most of the time talking about the boys and texting Mom & Dad for updates on them but what parents wouldn't. We spent the night at the Resorts. In the morning, Brian noticed that he wasn't wearing his wedding ring. We panicked and spent the next 2 hours tearing apart the hotel room looking for it. We were sick to our stomach's but we had to leave the room. We had plans to go to the jewelry store in Stone Harbor when we got back. As we were unpacking our bags we found it! We were so relieved and just laughed at where Brian had decided was a good idea to put his ring the night before. Needless to say we had a wonderful, stress-free night! Thanks MeMe & Gpop!
