Visiting Nanny's tree

A couple weeks ago we took a drive down to Brigantine and spent some time at Nanny's tree. It was the first time Eve has been there. Brian always feels good when we go there and it makes me feel a little closer to her as well. I spoke to her in my silent thoughts, introduced her to her Grand-daughter, and thanked her once again for bringing this wonderful man into the world for me to love and build a life with.

Mother's Day

I had such a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! It started on Friday with the Mother's Day tea at Toddler Circle. After that we packed up and headed down to the shore. We had the best time with the family just chillin and had a great dinner at the Windrift Sat night. Sunday we had to head out early to get home for the boys soccer in the morning. After soccer the boys napped and then we hung outside on the deck all evening. The boys played in the baby pool, climbed on the swingset, threw a ball for Jadie, and colored at the picnic table. They were blissfully happy. Eve was very happy as well to be in the fresh air. We did a BBQ for dinner. I told Brian it was just what I wanted....to hang at home with my wonderful kids and awesome hubby.

Mother's Day tea

On Friday at Toddler Circle they did a Mother's Day tea. It was adorable. We sat next to our kiddos for snack and they gave us presents they made the week before and flowers. The presents were handpainted ceramic tiles that we can use as a trivet. So thoughtful. Can't wait to use it when I cook dinner tonight. The boys had so much fun and loved me sitting at the snack table with them. Gavin kept turning to me and smiling and offering me food off of his plate. Evan kept saying "my Mommy" and laying his head on my chest. MELT MY HEART!

Here is a pic of Evie checking out her crib. A couple days before we put her in ther room for the night I would go in her room with her and place her in there while I organized and decorated. By May 5th, her first night in there, she had adjusted well and slept 6 1/2 hours. She's such a good girl!

Easter at MeMe & G pop's

Mom and Dad had our annual Easter dinner and it was a blast as usual. We had 2 egg hunts...one for the little kids and another for the "older" kids. Mom & Dad had so much fun fooling all of us with their new hiding spots in their new house. We always have so much fun! The food was awesome...Mom did a great job! It was also fun to spend time with Gram, Grandaddy, and Grandmom.
