Easter party at Toddler Circle

We had our Easter party at Toddler Circle today and the boys had a ball. We dyed eggs, read an Easter book, sang an Easter song, had a special snack and then an Easter egg hunt in the playground. They collected a lot of eggs! Eve slept the whole time. Ms. Carolyn took pictures of all the kids with these bunny ears on so we thought it'd be funny to see how Eve looked in them. She didn't even move an inch when we put them on her.

This is a picture that Daddy texted to Mommy the first time she was separated from Eve. Mommy took the boys to Toddler Circle and Eve stayed home with Daddy. Mommy missed her every minute but she was in her glory home with her Daddy.

3/12 - 1st bottle feeding...Daddy fed her. 3/26 - 1st smile. 3/28 - 1st time separated from Mommy...stayed home with Daddy while Mommy and the boys went to Toddler Circle. 3/28 - 1st trip to the shore house. 3/28 - 1st time slept 6 hours at night. 4/9 - 1st time cooed at Mommy & Daddy.

Happy 5th Anniversary!

We have accomplished a lot in 5 years! We have 3 beautiful children and we bought our family home. Brian, I can't seem to remember life before you....it's like you've always been there alongside me...and it's where you will be forever and ever. I absolutely love the gift you got me and I can't wait to hang in on the wall. It definitely brought me to tears...happy tears...I love you for making all this happen for us. (By the way, we need to get back to those hot bodies from 5 years ago...haha!)

Rainy days

The last weekend of March we went to the shore for a lil much needed SH get away time. We haven't been down since Thanksgiving so we really wanted to get down there. The boys did great...they definitely know the house. As soon as we pulled up they said "we're home!" They call it the "blue house" (even though it's green...everything is blue to them these days). They ran right in and into the play room. They were excited to play with their toys that they haven't seen in a while. Evie did great adjusting to the new environment. She slept in our room and had no problems. It did rain all weekend but we really didn't care...we were in SH afterall! That Friday at Toddler Cirlce they learned about clouds and rain so they were really into the rain anyway. We mostly just hung at the house. We went out to dinner both nights and MeMe and G Pop watched the kids on Sat afternoon so that we could go on a coffee date.

One month old

3/25 Evie turned 1 month old! Wow! She did have her Dr. appt that day and the Dr. was very happy with her progress. She weighed 8 lbs and was grew 1 inch to be 20 1/4 inches. Brian and I were very happy to know that she's growing so well, which means me nursing her is going well. No needles that day...but she will have some at her 2 month appt.

Gavin - our lil Daddy

Gavin is our little Daddy. He is very attentive to Evie. He is always making sure she has her binky or her lamby. He stops playing to check on her and always asks "where's baby?" Since she's been born, each week at Toddler Circle, he grabs the baby doll and carries it around with him the whole class. He asks me to swaddle it for him and he has it sit or lay next to him during each activity. It really warms my heart to see him acting so lovingly...it makes me feel proud!
